This mod add several civilisations, creatures, reactions and items from and inspired by the fourth generation of the My Little Pony franchise to Dwarf Fortress. It is designed to be used with df_31_25 and is used at your own risk. Seriously, I'm an idiot, this could blow your PC up or something.

Various creatures in this mod are based on or inspired by myths and legends from around the world. If you feel offended by any of these depictions, rest assured it is ignorance on my part, not malice, and I would appreciate you explaining the problem and suggesting revisions.

To install the mod, copy all files into your raw folder, which is in DF>raw>objects. If you are using civilisations from another mod and would like them to use the buildings and reactions included in this mod, copy the text from the file named "Reaction Permissions.txt" into their entity definition.
If you are using other mods which add plants or milkable creatures, check out the resources provided for adding compatibility with the new reactions.
A list of changes to vanilla files is included below in case you're using other mods that make changes to those files.

Specific additions:

Pony creatures and civilisation: Made up of earth, pegasus, unicorn and rare royal ponies, these ponies use above ground and good plants and animals.

Cave pony creatures and civilisation: Made up of draltha, slippy, gorlak and rare underlord ponies, these ponies use subterranean plants and animals.

Diomedian pony creatures and civilisation: Made up of keshi, shadowbolt, tentacle and rare dark royal ponies, these evil ponies use above ground, subterranean and evil plants and animals, and have the babysnatcher tag, causing almost certain war with non-babysnatching civilisations.

Zebra creatures and civilisation: Made up of aziza, ibis, karkadann, abada and rare emperor zebras, these creatures use above ground and evil plants and may use wooden weapons and armour.

Buffalo creatures and civilisation: Made up of wood, plains, eagle and rare sacred flying buffalo, these creatures use above ground, good and evil plants. They cannot smelt and will only use wooden armour and weapons. They are somewhat beligerant and are four times the size of most ponies.

Rainbow pony creatures and civilisation: Regular ponies, cave ponies and diomedian ponies all rolled into one, meaning all castes from those species can appear. Lacks the babysnatcher tag.

Animal ponies: Wild pony-like creatures with animal characteristics found in savage areas. Size issues have been fixed as of version 1.7, and thief and snatcher civs added.

Painting and conjuring wood: With the addition of sixteen new above ground plants, dyers are able to paint wood in various colours, and woodcrafters can conjure plants into wooden logs, which can then be painted.

Parasprites: Forest-dwelling creatures who move in packs of 20 to 50 and devour food and guzzle drink.

Tanks: A blue-skinned, rainbow-shelled reptilian herbivore that gives birth to large litters and requires a large grazing area. As of version 1.7, they can be used as mounts

Apple Ents: Slow-moving, tree-like creatures which can be shorn for apple baskets, which will be washed by a thresher at the new orchard workshop, or butchered for raw wood, which will be converted into logs by a tanner at the orchard workshop.

Megabeasts: Ursa Majors, Trojan Ponies(who will be converted into valuable wooden logs after being defeated), and a third megabeast.

Armour: Chanfrons, peytrals, cruppers and other armour items required by ponies.

Worms: Wheat worms and other tasty annelids. Found growing as shrubs and can be grown in farm plots. There are rumours that larger versions stalk the caverns.

New in Version 1.7:

Lion creatures and civilisations: Made up of manticores, griffons, sphinxes and rare androsphinxes, these creatures use above ground plants and evil plants, wood and animals. They cannot smelt and will only use wooden weapons and armour. They range from two to three times the size of most ponies and are somewhat beligerent. They also seem to love building roads. Thanks to CrazyCow for his wonderful work on these.

Jays and Foo Jays: Blue jays have been replaced with foo jays, which can be all manner of colours, and plain Eurasian jays have been added, as well as jay and foo jay pegasi.

Baking: The three vanilla flours, as well as the new banana flours, can now be used for baking. Basic dough requires flour, booze and fat(oil, tallow or butter), and more complex and valuable doughs can be greated by adding sugar, syrup and/or eggs, or by using more valuable booze. These doughs can be cooked, baked into unrotting loaves/cakes/biscuits, or made into statues or figurines. The original butter reactions and statue/figurine reactions were made by Dwarfu.

Orchard workshop and several new ents. Various ent-based reactions have been relocated to here.

Citrus ents and banana ents. Citrus ents produce fruit which can be eaten(except laraha fruit), sliced up, made into marmelade and brewed into wine, banana ents produce leaves that can been processed into thread and fruit that can be ground into flour as well as being eaten, brewed, sliced or made into jam. Banana ents do not produce wood, instead they produce edible corm and roots. Banana ents live a maximum of ten years.

Carrots, celery, star stalk mushrooms: Autumn and winter vegetables, carrots and celery above ground, star stalks below. The base plant is split into roots, leaves and seeds, or can be conjured into wood. Roots and leaves can be processed to bags and eaten or cooked, carrot roots can be made into jam. Yes, I know the cartoon has carrots and celery being planted in spring, but they also live in an area that's completely covered in snow during winter. Real carrots and celery are autumn/winter crops and DF doesn't have a facility for changing growing seasons based on biome.

Animal ponies: Blind cave bear ponies added, and polar bear ponies now draw their data from polar bears, not black bears(oops). A new variety of honey badger pony has been added. I couldn't decide whether to give it horns or tusks, so it has plenty of both. Cave and plains dwelling animal pony thief and snatcher civs have been added.

Totally wicked umbrella hats. Made of metal so they can serve as protective headgear.

Various bugfixes and cleanups of the code, including fixes to various preferences and materials issues, entity rejigging to stop buffalo running wild over everything and make names more varied.

Changes to vanilla Dwarf Fortress files:

Bear sizes have been tripled to bring them more in line with the show.

Mount tags disabled on many creatures to stop ponies riding in on horseback.

Exotic pet and mount tags changed to regular pet and mount tags. Mount tags have still been disabled where appropriate.

References to human and humanoid changed to two-legged, ape-like, primate and so on.

Various subterranean animal men had been sighted in violation of the [DOES_NOT_EXIST] tag. For this offence, they have been deleted, as well as the mineral men and all above ground animal men. Notes have been added to mark where they used to be.

c_variation_default.txt: Added [DOES_NOT_EXIST] to the animal person variation, removing them from the game without changing most creature files. As they've now been removed manually, this only acts as a failsafe.

creature_other.txt, creature_savage_tropical.txt, creature_standard.txt, creature_subterranean.txt: Added [DOES_NOT_EXIST] to various animal and element men not using the animal person variation, added [NO_EAT][NO_DRINK] to kobolds. Kobolds don't actually appear because their entity has been disabled.

creature_birds.txt: Blue jays replaced with jays.

creature_domestic.txt: Butter materials and reaction tags added to milk producers. Rabbit clusters and population increased, curious beast: eater tags added.

creature_fanciful.txt: Mythical griffons changed to gryphons to accomodate actually existing griffons.

creature_insects.txt: Couldn't resist adding a "serenity" prefstring to fireflies.

creature_large_mountain.txt: Mountain goats are now milkable, and the milk can be made into cheese or butter.

creature_large_ocean.txt: Walruses can now be used as mounts.

creature_large_riverlak.txt: Hippos can now be used as mounts, giant platypi can't, they're still only 200 kilos.

creature_large_temperate.txt: Bear, mount and exotic changes.

creature_large_tropical.txt: Mount and exotic changes, butter added to camels.

creature_large_tundra.txt: Bear, mount and exotic changes, polar bears enabled as mounts due to size.

creature_next_underground.txt: Animal man extermination, exotic and mount rejigging.

creature_savage_tropical.txt: Exotic and mount rejigging.

entity_default.txt: Unbracketed site and biome tags for dwarves, humans and damn dirty elves, removing them from the game, and added wood painting, apple cleaning and wood cleaning permissions to them.

item_food.txt: Replaced biscuits, stews and roasts with cupcakes, muffins/pies and baked bads/big tasty stews.

plant_standard.txt: Added conjured and painted wood and flour, dough and baked good definitions.

tissue_template.txt: Added healing to the hoof template, slower than most tissues, but about twice as fast as bone.
